Check each item before the ride:

I have a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vest
My lanyard kill switch works
My PWC is fueled and inspected
My phone is in a waterproof case
I checked weather and ocean conditions

I know the launch location and meet time
I understand the ride pace and route
